Default Another problem

Now I am told that I need a electronic cooling fan. While driving with the air conditioner on the car started vibrating. Also while not running the air it did the same thing. But I was in bumper to bumper traffic on a very hot day. So I guess it was tring to help to cool the engine.
The other thing is I need to get a oil change. I want syn oil they say that it will add 42.00 more to the total. This would make the total 82.00 for an oil change.
Any comments?

Is this the dealer who is telling you this? You may want to go to an independant euro mechanic for a second opinion.

Do the oil change yourself. With $40 dollars of equipment you can be changing your oil for ~$25 bucks a pop w/synthetic oil. It's cake.

haha, no really it is easy. Jack car up, remove oil fill cap, put pan under drain, remove drain, remove filter, screw on new filter, put drain plug back in, fill with new oil.

My favorite mechanic (Walmart) will put in Mobil-1 5W-40 and change the filter (they supply Fram) or my own, for 32 dollars total.
