Then after i take it off, what will i need to do to put one back on that is meant for this car?

it look like on of the old craptastic cell phone antennas for your car on the 01's the antenna is in the back window and the antenna booster is in the trunk behind the jack box on the left hand side of the trunk

The factory antenna is built into the glass. Its still there...no need to put anything else on the window after you take the CB antenna off.
