I have good FM reception and lousy AM reception but neither is stellar. I've read posts on here about the antenna amp going bad. Is there an easy rebuild? Is there a website for these amps? i can't find them except one used one on Ebay for $70. Is there a dianostic i can do to verify it's the AMP a stereo guy told me the Audi amps were prone to go bad and since i just did the ABS module which is also prone to go bad, I'm assuming it's the amp.

The amp is in the driver's side rear quarter above the rear seat. Connections go bad. First thing is to check the continuity of the antenna with an Ohm meter. Then check the amplifier.
