I'm looking at buying the K04 turbo and came across ecstuning.com they have the "KKK K04" turbo w/ install kit listed for $939.95. Then on APR's site they have the K04 listed at $1799, what is the difference between these turbos?

I don't know much on this subject, so what else would I need besides the turbo? I know i'll be getting the APR catback along with a chip.. anything else I'm missing that is recommended to keep the car reliable? (this is my daily driver)

 

Its the same turbo... kkk k04-015. Check out the thread called "ctsturbo.com"... it should only be a couple threads down.

k04 is, k04 does.
If I were you id peice the kit together though. You can find a k04 for a lot less than $950 or whatever ecs has it for.

 

lol no matter who you buy it from they are all Borg Warner K04's. the different prices are cuase some places are rip-offs and some places offer different kits that come with the k04

Bones, check the APR site more closely. There price includes software. However, you should be able to find a K04 for $700 from other sources.

 

My apologies I feel like an idiot now. Shoulda searched before I posted this, most forums don't allow 3 character search (k04) so I didn't even try.

Just dont use the KKK model in black audi's, they dont work together to well.
