Hey guys I have to take my 01 a4 in to schneider nelson in eatontown nj on monday for the CEL its a stedy CEL so its nothing too serious but that servis dept said its prob misfiring which it sound like it does. Does anyne know about how much it cost at the dearship for something liek this. I mean i just did my $1800 valve cover gaskets and TB.

Doesn't anything at the dealer cost a ton?
I think they have a $1000 minimum charge.

Honestly, unless you know exactly whats wrong, its hard to say. if its a bad coil, DIY cost - $40 Dealer cost - $300?
Just make sure you bring the KY to make the visit as pleasant as possible.

I woudl take somwhere else but there;s no reputable audi mechanics around me and i just want my fuc*in CEL off its soo annoyin!!

Why dont you buy a code reader so you know whats causing it? then you wont have to run to the dealer each time something is wrong.
