OH oh I know what it is but I can't think of the name right now. I think it's got something to with a diaphragm or something and I know your local stealership will have it.

 

Take the picture to a dealer's parts dept.

 

ok do u think its a problem to run the car like that even do it runs good, and what exactly does this effect????

 

I wanna say that it has something to do with the vacum system but I'm not sure so I could be totally wrong, but I do think you can run with it like that for a bit. Wait till someone who knows what they are talking about gets one, I'm kinda just guessing but the name of the part is right on the tip of m tongue and it's bugging me that I can't think of it.

i think is a Check Valve for ur vacuum
its a common thing for 1.8Ts, the engine bay gets hot and damages them
mine are goin bad also[&o]
