I just recently got my Audi A4 1.8T Quatro in October. I'm aiming at my ordering list to be...

20-35% Tints (wish i could get 0% but i live in NY - illegal)
2 Infinity 12" Subwoofer (1230W)
Q-Logic Dual Subwoofer Enclosure
1 or 2 Infinity 97 Watt 2-Channel Amplifier

Do you agree with this sound system? subs and amps?

and

Has anyone gone back to their Audi dealer to get a upgrade to The Bose System...? Mine is factory stock.

Still learning about everything, help me out.

-

Anyone know where to find the S4 Rims 2001?

-

Did you upgrade suspension? what suspension did you choose? how much? safe?

If you are really trying to build a sound system, I would advise ripping out all of the factory speakers.

As far as the brand, i've always been told to use nothing but JL subs if you can afford them.

The Audi Bose system is adequate for normal use, but it sounds like you are wanting something better. If you like loud music, you will blow the factory bose/regular speakers out after time.

You can find S4 rims on ebay, someones always trying to unload their stockers.

Alright, I'll leave the rims till later. I like to ride in style... luxury and music knockin...

How could i start about getting this professionally done, i won't touch anything if it voids the warrenty... mom's a bitch bout it... but i figure, 2 years and i get a S4...

Anyway, JL Subs? And amps too?

I'm lookin for the little things to pimp out the A4... I'm thinking about gettin the Xenon lights too. How are they? good enough to **** other drivers off? hehe.

Did you upgrade your Exhaust? Does it void the warrenty? i suppose it would? but could i put the stock back on before i trade in?

yeah i used to have JL Audio subs for my jeep. some bastard stole them right out of the car. broke two windows in the process. found blood in the back. (the bitch cut himself on the broken glass) right now in the audi. im running a Carputer with a Ardvark sound card and i run 4" MB Quart Premium 3 peice componets up front and 6 3/4 MB Quart componets in the back dash. the tweeters are munted in the pillers as high as i could get (to avoid blasting super high frequencies in my passangers hear.) I just recently got a 1400 watt 5 channel amp from MB Quart off ebay. it was like $250 b/c it was discontinued

I would take the car to a professional auto installer and have them take a look. Find a reputable place and see what they say. I'm kind of out of it, when it comes to amps. I have a custom molded fiberglass box with a 12" alpine sub, and a 200 Watt US Amps amp driving it. It provides an adequate low end, but nothing you could bump with. Replacing the speakers will only void that portion of the warranty. I woulnt expect them to replace the head unit if it blows if you have a custom amp installed.

Xenon lights are nice, if you dont want to cut into your factory lights, expect to spend at least 500 bucks for new headlights, bulbs, ballasts, and ignitors.

The exhuast, they dealer isn't goign to void your entire warranty due to replacing the exhaust. Just don't expect them to work on any portion of the exhaust for free from that point on.

What are the specs of your car? year, engine? pics?

Ive been trykng to upload pictures but the stupid forum limits wont allow me too. All in all the speakers and subs and amp cost about 1200 dollars. The sound card i stole from my old high school. BTW the subs are infinity perfect 10" those i "borrowed" from a friend and he hasnt asked for them back

David, make an account at photobucket.com It's so much easier than trying to upload them here.

I think the clear corner mod would make your car's headlights look a lot better.
