I've had my HIDs for about a year now and have been meaning to post this... Has anyone else had there radio reception go to crap when they turn on thereheadlights? It's only when I have them on and it's not like it's a loose wire or anything it was a real nice job.

Also, my AM reception is really shacky ever since I got my tints done... I assume it's because the wire for the radio is in the back windshield. Is there anyway to fix that? Maybe an after market radio?

the antenna can be extended. i believe there's a diy for that. the wire is in the back of the car somewhere. as for the bad reception when the headlights are turned on, it could be a bad ground somewhere. my radio works perfectly no matter what i have on or off

 

Thanks a lot, first where would I be able to get extra antenna. Also, How would I go about fixing the ground affect if that's the problem?

 

you can get wires from radio shack or circuit city. as for the grounding you would have to follow the wires from behind the headunit. it's gonna be a tedious job.
