Default anyone have a tipchip for sale? or know where to get one?

my buddy has an 01 1.8t quattro with a giac chip, and the thing would be soooo much faster if it would jst shift properly. i dont want him to pay out the @$$ for it, so id like to know if anyone has one for sale or knows of a place that does them cheap. this bs wouldnt even be an issue if the kid had just bought a stick in the first place, but here we are.

The only way to get one cheaply (or cheaper anyway) is to buy used.

I too would love one but the money does hold me back. So if anyone knows where 2 tipchips are for an 01 1.8T that would be perfect...
