Default Anyone heard of this chip for 12v's?

its been on the motodyne website for a while and I've always been skeptical about it.But I'm wondering if anyone has it or has heard anything about it, and if it really works.

As far as I've been concerned 96-97's had an upgradeable ecu?

you'll get at most 8-10hp for 500 bucks. not really worth it in my opinion.

on a side note- they offer a supercharger for the 12v...for 6 g's

Motodyne is BS. Go ahead and call them and inquire about their SC or chip. Let us know what they say.

sorry for the slug response
But yeah i;Ive heard bad **** about them as well, thats why i thought id ask. And cus im still wishing i could chip my 12v. Im pretty sure i have it figured out, but is it just that the ecu isn't tunable, through dyno or somthing. or is it just that no one makes completely separate aftermarket chip for it. sorry for the ignorance. or would independent just be a better/cheaper way to go.

no ecu's are untunable, its just naturally aspirated cars dont gain as much from chips as turbo'd cars do. so aftermarket companies dont find it worthwhile to make them, the 12v isn't popular enough for a company to spend thousands of dollars to create a reliable chip, especially one that only offers gains of 8hp. your gona end up spending hundreds of dollars for basically no gains
