anyone know how to fix a door lock???
Ok, here's the deal.. I put the key in and turn it to lock it, the lock button goes down, but wont stay down. It just pops back up as soon as i take the key out. This only happens on the drivers door, the rest of the doors lock fine. I can not even push the lock down from inside the car because it just keeps poppin back up like its spring loaded.. damn audi wins again..any idea on how to fix this??

ok forget it.... i took off the door panel and i see whats goin on... the bar that goes from the key hole to the actuator, or whatever it is, bends as i turn the key... therefore, whatever is supposed to be happening with the actuator isnt happening.. i think maybe its jambed.. also, how the heck do you work in there?? do you need to remove the window frame and glass?? and on top of that, the key hole seems to push inside the door, as if theres something missing that is supposed to hold it in place.. anyone want a nice lookin a4??
