Ok iam wondering what everyone ended up spending on there ko4 setup including FMIC,turbo,injectors,software. I think thats all you need please correct me if iam wrong. Iam looking to put a setup together in like one week.

How necessary is it to immediately get a new clutch with the K04? Also, I heard that you can skimp on the FMIC at first as well if you're looking to go cheap.

 

Well unless you're running the PC-16 file you don't need injectors and you don't have to have a FMIC. For a cheap FMIC I've heard good things about johnnyracecar.com. I thought you could get a FPR for less than $100 and I know you can get a clutch for $400. You also have to take in consideration labor if you're not going to do it yourself.

 

What about exhaust?

 

There are hundreds of old posts about exhaust. Borla seems to be the cheapest but read the archives.
