Default Is anyone using Radar Detector?

I'd like to buy one, is anyone got experience about it and give me some suggestion on it.
Is there any brand or model which is invisible for VG-2? Thanks

Seems as though everyone has very high marks for the Valentine 1 albeit pricey.

I think almost every radar detector today has the VG-2. I got a fairly cheap cobra one and it works very well. I am saving for a V1 though.

yep, I have the passport 8500, and it works great, but if I had the money, a valentine 1 would be on its way. I have used it before and it is the best non hard wired system.

I have a Beltronics RX65 Professional series. I paid $329 for it and it's paid for itself about 3-4 times in the last 1 1/2 months. I speed 10 over on the freeway all the time and back home on a local highway of 35 miles in length I regularly hit 110 so it's saved me a couple times there and a few times now that I'm in the Seattle area commuting in traffic. I like the detector, sometimes it'll pick up KA band crap when driving through town but for the most part the only thing it picks up in town are the radar guns and cameras they have ontop of every single stoplight here in town, they're getting ridiculous with speeding over here.

Ive researched this many times the past year to get the best detector for my money.. Ive eventually realized that i found the answer.. the Beltronics makes the top of the line system. It picks up every single radar freequency. The K40 Radar is EXACTLY like the Beltronics. EXACTLY!!!!!! and for the same price.. K40 pays for your "Radar" ticket if you ever get one.

So take it from me.. For the same price.. pay for your ticket ... or not?

Both brands make "Hidden" radars which will flash LED's when triggered. (pretty cool)

I bought the K40 Calibre.. and i absolutely love it. I dont mind getting a ticket so K40 can pay for it. At least i can right? lol
