www.fourseasontuning.com they go in this fri bc dudes lift broke a few weeks ago when i got em so i had to wait. ill report back when they r in though. they r just a mild cam
a mild cam in consideration to a 1.8t it has a 10mm lift on exhaust and 9mm lift on the intake. which is all under .5. im not expection much but say 10-15 hp. allz its gonna do is make it feel like its pullin harder. of course that much hp isnt noticable atleast to me it isnt. i cant feel **** unless its high increase. it also makes its full power at 5800 rpms which is what i wanted considering the k04 boost curve. like if i went with shrick id be pointless. they have 11-12mm lifts on theres and in order to get that to work properly id have to get a lightened fly to get up in my power band but then when im there the k04 boost has dropped off so they were pointless to get
AEB heads like more lift. You'll see a noticeable increase in power through out the rev range i'm guessing. They're limited in lift on the intake due to the 24mm lifters used. The biggest cam lift you'll see is about .350", stock lift is about .300". The real way to make power with cams is by moving the torque plateu in the RPM band. Moving it to higher RPM's makes more hp. Torque wont' change much at all.
That GT-28RS turbo will do it for you though, you'll see a loss in low speed torque from the larger housings until the turbo gets spooled up, it exceeds K03 torque at about 3000 RPM and pulls hard to about 6500.
