i can't say i'm a fan of the silver grill but thats easy enough to change. Hopefully someone here or on audizine owns this car, it would make things much easier. I knew someone would bring up the 2.8 thing and i've been here for long enough to know that the 1.8 is a better engine to mod for power but i'm not looking to do extensive engine mods or a BT. Power from this is comprable to a chipped 1.8 with supporting mods but u don't get the turbo in thie high end which i'm ok with. I'm 17 and i don't have the money to deal with turbo problems or a turbo upgrad it right now.
Nobody here has that one. Looks good thought - take it out for a test drive and see if you like it first. I got mine on ebay over a year and a half ago and I love it. But I wouldn't think about it unless I had seen the car in person first.
2.8's are good cars/engines.. Nothing wrong with them at all if you know what you want/dont want. Just be glad you educated yourself ahead of timeand didnt end up buying a 2.8 with hopes of modding the crap out of it. I say go check it out. Although Im wondering about the condition/lifespan of the stock struts with having the Tein lowering springs on them.
they are just less expensive, not a lot of people have them. most would suggest H&R springs - but what brand shocks are on the car? I would replace them ASAP if he actually lowered the car on the stock's. Also make sure a proper allignment has been done
Tein springs are good stuff.. Im saying that lowering springs in general arent always a good idea to use on stock struts. Some people think differently though. He said he put them on recently, so there should be no problems.
