Default Apexi Turbo Question.

Well, a friend of mine bought an Apexi Turbo and isn't gonna use it after all, he's selling it to me for pretty cheap. I'm wondering if i could use this turbo.

It's the Apexi AX53. capable of 300hp.

what would i need to run this turbo?
i know i would need a t25 Manifold, what else would i need?

I know i need alot of other things, fmic, dv, exhaust, tp, tune.
I was set on the gt2x or the gt71r, but then this came along and started to confuse me. Would the apexi turbo be good for me audi or not.

thanks!

looks like its just a glorified gt28r. Garrett $800, Apexi $1200. I would just get a real garrett than waste it on a gt28r with a skyline compressor cover on it.

^he's getting it for cheap from his friend so he's not spending 1200.

i dont see why it cant work. it would be practically the same as the gt28r set-up wise, just make sure to match the flanges

Just remember that its gonna cost you $80 for the turbo inlet and outlet flanges. http://himni-racing.com/index.php?ma...mp;cPath=24_36

If you want it, then get it. Just need atp parts (man, dp, etc) to make it work.

whatever the sw is written for. 380cc-440cc @4bar would be enough. But 550cc can be used if tuned for

the atp ones are $400. NEVER use the stainless ebay manifolds, they suck. But you can however use a t25 flanged atp clone cast manifold. Pleny of those floating around w/o any problems.
