Im deciding between the Borla or APR cat-back exhaust for my 1.8T. I'm also planning on getting a high flow cat later on. APR is not very specific about their product and doesn't have any sound clips, unless I haven't found it yet. Their exhaust is also around $900 compared to $650 from borla. I don't know if I would be getting ripped off. I was hoping if anyone has their exhaust or knows somebody with it, it would really help me out. If anyone has any opinions or suggestions, that would help too.

They're both great brands. If you want to save money just get the Borla.

I recently got the Borla and absolutly love it. Significantly cheaper and preformance is on par with APR's

 

How does the APR sound like. Does it have a resonator? is it like the borla system, because I like how the borla sounds like, the only thing is I'd rather go with 2.5" pipes than 2.25". But if it sounds horrible, it's not worth it no matter how much bigger the pipes are.

 

If you're going to spend 900... get miltek, if you ask me! I know www.renn-art.com sells miltek -- and you have a choice between resonated and non-resonated... 100 dollar price difference, I believe. I heard APR sounds like Neuspeed, and that turned me off completely. I will be buying miltek, I believe. I still want remus... but I don't want to bother with getting ANY custom exhaust work done. If custom work doesn't phase you, then consider Remus along with the other brands... Remus exhausts sound AMAZING.

 

the pipes are 2.75".....is that going to give me problems? every other audi exhaust distributor sells 2.25" to 2.5"
