went a made my oppintment today to get chipped tomorrow. 499 for the chip 125 for the install a little much but the only shop near me that does anything like it.

what year is ur car casue i think u can just do a reflash if ur car is DBW

2001 a4 1.8t the guy at the shop claims 35 to 45 hp.

are they gonna remove ur ECU and soder a chip or are they reflashing

im asuuming hes relflashing it because he said hes doing it with just the laptop

yeah i dont think it should be more than 50$ if even.

tell them youre taking it to GIAC. **** with them, they should lower it!

Reflashing takes ~15 minutes or so, $125 is insane for a labor on a flash installation.
