Default APR Chip

Hey Guys I have a 1999.5 A4 1.8T Quattro (Tip Tronic) with 103,000KM on it and I am wondering if I should get a APR Chip as I have an authorized APR dealer 5 mins away....or is my milege too high. Also how much of a difference will the APR chip make to an automatic transmission? I am aware that if I get it chipped I am going to have to change my DV so I am planning on getting a 710N but can some one please tell me how I change the DV! I know it is under the car on the passenger side....but I can not seem to remove the plastic from underneath it any help and advice would be apprecitated.

Thanks.

blow the cash...get it. your car will be fine, the only thing to be worried about is the turbo in like 25k miles. do it....do it.

Do it. The skid plate is just held on by a few screws.

idk about b5 but i have 3 with rubber washers in the front and then 6 or 7 regular screws that hold on the large skid plate and as far as the dv its on the passenger side right below the turbo, just follow your lines and you will see the crappy plastic dv
