APR CHIP 91 or 93 octane
ok. so i found a pretty good deal where i can get a whole ecu that is already flashed with the APR 91 octane program. My question is, is the 91 octane program a lot different then the 93 octane program? Should i just wait and get the 93 octane program done to my current ecu. Money is kinda tight and i will be able to get the ecu with the 91 flashed on it for around the same price as a regular chip. Am i relal y gonna be able to notice the 6hp difference between the 91 and 93 octane programs? Yes i did search and i couldnt find info on the 91 octane program. Thanks a lot

i highly suggest going withthe 91. later, you can get a 93 switch put in. if you go with 93, then you will allways have to full up with 93 octain and that A costs a lot and B i cant find it anywhere near my house. u will only get like 8 hp off it too. so get a switch later so when u find it, u can sue it, or when u go to the track

6hp wont feel like much if any.
BTW how much more is 93 than 91 where you live?

oh, and the ecu isnt new, its used but it still works, how do i know if it would work with my car or not. Its from a 2001 1.8t 5spd which is exactly what i have. Do i need to doublecheck anything else to make sure that it will work?
