APR/GIAC causes clutch slippage
im thinking im going to get the Test pipe and apr chip, and get the second prgram so i can turn it off if i dont need the power or if i glaze it the first time i really launch or something, prolly wont do much of that, i prefer the roll ons myself
I woulldn't pay extra for the standard program if you are out of warranty. Believe me, once you chip it, you will never want to go back to 'Normal". Get the chip first. Your clutch should be fine unless you have quattro and like dropping your clutch at 4000 RPM. If you don't drive like an A**, or spend all day trying to go off the line, your clutch will last a long time.
Anyway you should always have a few thousand in the bank for emergencies.

i do have a quattro, but i only dropped it at 4k one time, and it didnt like it all!!!!
i usually just ease it off at 1500 or 2k then punch it once its rolling.. but not very often
of course that could be harder to do once i get it chipped
