Default APR stage 1+ install...

I got my tt 225 injectors installed today and the 1+ flash from apr. It was driving really until the boost became limited to under 7psi. I turned the car off and put it in stock mode, which was not going above 4-5 psi. After changing into stock mode and driving on the highway for a few minutes I through a CEL (0171 code (lean)). I stopped for a minute and cleared the codes and the CEL went away. I then drove an hour home and an hour back to school and it drove perfectly without any boost issues or fault codes. Is it normal to have a fault right after getting injectors and stage 1+ flashed? My car is driving great right now and has been for the past few hours so I am not too worried anymore. anyone else have an experience like that?

I would have thought the same thing, which I saw lean I was really confused. The CEL came on when I was in stock mode too. I cant think of anything that it could be because it is running perfectly now.

I hope its neither of those things... i just drove around tonight(now that the temperature dropped a lot) and I definitely felt a huge difference with the injectors... apr stage 1+ is a big jump from stage 1

congrats.. keep in mind not only do you have new injectors, but you have different software tuning now too. So Boost and fuel are beef'd up. Hopefuly its just adapting and you wont have any more issues. It happens.

Sounds like your ECU is dealing with the change, go easy on the throttle and let it realize whats taking place.

Sounds like your car entered limp mode which isn't nessecarily uncommon when making such changes, just let us know if it occurs again in the next few days.... Even if it occurs tommarrow it still might be alright, but if it keeps on doing it there could be an issue, but it sounds like your alright to me.

Enjoy the chip man, I'm sure its awesome!
