Hey everybody. Just wondering if anyone's heard any news on the KO4 Turbo Upgrade from APR. I know I could always go to GIAC but I like being able to switch back and forth from stock to chipped mode.

 

get the awe ko4 kit ,comes with ko4 ,fpr,all gaskets ,software,i just installed on mine.nice.well worth the $1700

 

You can switch back to stock mode with giac. Its called a flashloader that can be used by a small switch you hook up to the obdII port or with a laptop. APR does theirs with the cruise control i think.. and i think thats a bad idea because the cruise control controls on the turn signal stalk can go bad and then your're fucked.

 

there is no K04 kit for the B5 but there are K04 kits for the B6 and B7 and i dont think they will make a K04 kit for the B5

 

So tatman, your APR chip is obsolete then right? I'm surprised APR just doesn't do the upgrade for the B5. They'd make a killing!

 

I still have the apr ko3 chip with my ko4. if is getting update to giac next week.i just put it in friday.
