Default ash tray mod

OK, I don't smoke and no one is going to in my car, so I was wondering if anybody came up with any nifty mods for the ashtray to give that convenient space some new, yet still cool, functionality like another compartment or James Bond accessory panel. I tried the search option and most people just seem to have a problem with it opening.

Not sure if you have it or not, but I mounted my Siruis Sattelite Radio where the ashtry used to be. Not a bad place for it to go. Totally removable, seems to be the best place for it.

I'm in the process of mounting my turbo timer and digital boost gauge there. I'll post picks when completed.

where can i get a cheap turbo timer? are they an easy DIY install? i was thinking of that little center sun visor. That would be pretty PIMP! do you think that would even be possible?

i think it will not allow you to lock your car with the remote if the engine is still running with the turbo timer on. not sure but i read that once.
