For B6, I don't know of anyone running a Borla exhaust or even if they have one for the B6. Milltek is quiet and you won't like it if you want something louder than stock. Thermal is too loud in my opinion. APR is awesome but expensive relative to what it does. MTM is way nice but you have to 2nd mortgage your house for it. I have Neuspeed and it is perfect combination of sound (deep and raspy but not too loud), performance, and price. Exhaust are touchy subjects because one person's "great sounding" sounds like azz to the next guy. If I commuted to work in my car I might not like mine because it can get loud at WOT. But for those days when you just feel "mean", this exhaust is perfect.
As for stock BOV, as mentioned, if you are stock you have a DV. I fight for the "BOV won't harm your car" team, even though I run stock 710N (TT) DV. Many people running hp/tq way beyond the wildest dreams of most of us have been running BOV on the B6 platform for years with data logs showing no lean or rich conditions because of it. But you won't hear many people on this forum saying that. Propaganda bandwagon if you'd ask me.

The stock 1.8t is just not fast. Very possible the Cobalt would spank it each time. But who wants to drive a Cobalt? The 1.8t is not about 0-60 times.
