Ok i have a 98 2.8 manual and it is very hard for my to find performance mods for the engine, i was wondering if any of you guys have run acrossed any that you would suggest.

I have aready done a cold air intake and i know what exhaust i want so whatever you have post it.

Also if everyone says get a PES supercharger i am going to lose it b/c if every 2.8 owner had an extra 5k laying around i am sure they would get one,

Also, my car did not come with a remote, but it has an alarm and it used to have a romote, i was wondering if anyone is in this same boat and bought one of ebay and had it work out.

 

Sure I bought two switchblade key remotes off ebay and they worked fine.

No need to loose it, we all know that superchargers are expensive, if you're talking modding, its your best option for performance. There aren't many performance mods for NA cars.

 

how did you program the keys though did you already have one like it?

 

haha i want a PES soooo bad. i have the same problem with finding mods. ive searched quite a bit and really only find exhaust, cold intake and very rarely a performance or tranny chip generally. what exhaust are u planning on getting?

 

All you can really do that isn't the supercharger is cams, headers, exhaust, remap. I guess you could do a custom turbo set-up, but you'd be spending more than the supercharger kit, which you can't afford anyway. Basically, you're fvcked for performance.

 

you see my post about the 30v head?? well it was a bust idea cause nothin lines up and if it did wouldn't do anything really. so there went my genious idea of trying to get more outa the engine. you could always bore and stroke it

 

idk if money was not an option i would get a billy boat exhaust, but probably a lltek. i might actually sell mine and get a 1.8 t
need to make that decision before i put any more money into my car
