Hi, I have an Audi A4 TDI 1998 and having problems with the disck changer. I've just purchased the vehicle but when I put a cd in the changer and go to play it. The dash/ cd pplayer displays 'error code 1'. I've tried changing the cd to the other side but this has made no difference. I can hear the mechanism from the rear and it ejects and loads fine.

The chanager and the player is standard audi.

Any help would be much appreciated.

 

try spraying some dust off stuff in there. or buy a phat box.

 

Mine did the same thing i took it apart cleaned the whole thing and put it back together, works perfectly now
