Default audi speakers

does any1 know where u can get specific fit speakers for 2001 1.8t without bose system, because evidently no after market speakers will fit mine..my front speakers are blown and idk what to do

yeah i have the same problem, apparently all the shops around here say they have to make a custom holder for it, runs about 125 dollars, plus install, plus speaker price. way way way too much. so if anyone had any ideas that would help me too. they said they would make the holder fit the size speaker i liked.

One of the speaker part numbers (midrange, I believe) is 8D0-035-411A ($81.32 each from Impex) [:-] I can't find a non-Bose tweeter part in ETKA.

www.1stvwparts.com has them for $62.66 each. Not cheap, but cheaper than what you guys are talking about.

i have the same problem does any one know the dimensions of the front speaker? every site i go to has something different.

the 4" speakers, that are attached to the door panels. Any 4" speaker will work, they might sound lower that the rear due to their impedance, but you're better off, changing them all out...

You must not have actualy done the searching on the website yourself, cuz all it shows available are rear deck speakers, at least for my 2000.

try a good audi specific salvage yard.

like shokan.com they have everything.

got a plug set for my stock head unit
shipped same day ordered, had it the next day.
