SO MANY FUVKING PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR, AND NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX IT.

IF I'm going to bring it to a dealer, it would at least be 2000 bucks to fix it.

If a local, at least 1000.

well if you werent incompitant at fixing your own car, and having to take it places every time it breaks, so the mechanic can screw you over, then perhaps you wouldnt have an issue

 

its a 5 year old car, im sure the problems he is having could have been taken care of before they happened with a beautiful thing called preventative maintainence...postwhat your problems areand someone should be able to help you out instead of bitching and moaning about the problems

 

wow, its year 2007 and people still put all their trust into local machanics and audi dealerships?? i thought were ment to learn from the past and our mistakes, thats why we have something called 'history'.

get a service manual, go to autozone and get a vag-com, post your problems and stop bitching. any car will last foras long as you want it to last.

 

I agree with the other people. Find out what the actual problem is and address it. The job of a good service writer is to Up-sell their services and you dont get the privledge of working on Audi unless you are good at your job. Believe me I work at a dealership

 

I don't mean to get in between a blood feud here, but...... I think this statement is a little on the extreme side. Some people may not have time to fix their car themselves or maybe they would rather spend time with their family instead of in their garage all day fixing their car. IMO calling somebody incompetent (just like you are with the spelling of the word) is a really rude thing to say. But I do agree however he should have posted what the issue was with his car as oppose to just venting about how much its going to cost.

 

only 2000$? Lucky you. i had to drop a 4800$ tranny in my 02' two months after i got it. but i didnt give up. i love the car to death and ill drive it until its death. in the long run you gotta ask yourself how much you like audis. if your not sure, get a civic...

Dont lie to yourself and think the Honda dealership is going to fix it dirt cheap if it breaks in 6 years.

They will charge you out the asz just like any dealer.
