I was looking at Audi Timeslips and noticed blackb5's 16.56 second 1/4. Your car has the strongest chip out (to my knowledge) but that just seems awfully slow (No Offense). I know it's tiptonic but I just wanted to know if you were dissappointed in this time and what other people thoughts were.

 

your trip computer is calibrated (sp?) to the tenths place, do a 1/4 mile time by that

but im not sure how accurate that is. anyone know?

 

darkstart over one the zine made his own programming, and he running mid 14s just with a ko4, no exhaust.

 

that time seemed like my stock times.

 

yes i was disappointed in the time, i was thinking more like 15.5

tip chip made only a tenth of a second change from 16.5 to 16.4

k04 is now installed and will post those times next street tire test

 

Yea a little high but not terrible. the a4 is not exactly a quick car to begin with. I should have times soon

 

i know my a4 is not a 1/4 mile car. i just run for the fun of it. im not trying to be the quickest car
out there. the tip transmission is the downfall.

although once the A4 has reached 20 mph and the mass is rolling the car car impressed me often
and disappointed the guy in the lane next to me. lots of mustangs and camaros around my parts and
when they see me on the street they always want to toy with me, so i play, and sometimes upset them
