Default Audio people help me out

I am a performance person not ICE. A local shop installed my subs, amp, and headunit today. We can't get audio out of the back speakers. He said the factory wiring harness doesn't have a rear wire or something? What do I need to get the backs on?

rears have independant amps. i dont think they are compatible with aftermarket headunits. and i beleive the speakers require different ohms than what your headunit puts out.

probly best fix is buy some component speakers and rewire directly from headunit.

do you have symphony? what year? bose?

It was a symphony.

2004 a4 1.8tq

The new unit is an alpine. I just can't believe that everybody with head units has no rear speakers. There is no way to rig them up?

You can have rears but you'll have to run the wires yourself from the new deck....it's not so bad
