autozone for coolant

Default autozone for coolant
u think they will have coolant for audis????

They havea new Prestone that claims to be compatable with ALL coolant types.

That's your problem then. I put it in mixed with the red coolant, oh....60,000 miles ago at least with no problems. So you tell me....

mixing any coolant with g12 will cause problems, namely your thermostat getting stuck open

only place to get g12 is from the dealer or a shop that works on audi's

When the timing belt was done at 84K mi., the mechanic replaced
the G12 with universal global yellow antifreeze. I now have 134K mi.
with no problems.

You can buy fluid and replace the G12 with it, but don't mix it. You'll have to do a flush first if you buy another kind of fluid.

Its not a myth, G12 mixed with most other coolants will gel up.
