How are Audi perceived in the US?

Are they classed prestige cars and lots of people want them or are you lot on here a minority who just like German cars?

P.s. I live in the UK btw and just wondered.

 

They're held in pretty high esteem, probably just a tiny bit below MBZ and right on par with BMW. However, in LA the Japanese luxury brands hold a huge market share. Thought they were highly regarded around the world, but I was in Barcelona last year and someone asked me what kind of car I had. Took me twenty minutes to explain the concept of an Acura.

I own an 99 A4, but I am saving for a house.

 

im 17 broke student have no money, i skip lunch to pay for gas and mods for my audi.

 

I'm 17, making 16/hr, but I just make my parents pay for everything so my money just piles up in the bank, i figure i'll need in college.

 

i have a 00 1.8T quattro...making around 10 a year..if im lucky..im in school..and im 21...now im trying to make ends meet due to a school loan as well...this sucks major dick!
