Where do I start... Went to work, left early because there was no work and my boss was hung over and didnt give a ****.. So I headed over to the local tuner where i got chipped just to check out a price for a tip chip.. Well they now sell cars... As soon as I pulled up it was like Audi heaven.. A couple B5 S4's a few modddB5 A4's and thats all i really cared about although their inventory on Porsches and Lotus's was plentiful. So go in and start questioning about the Audi's. We go out and look at em and i say i want to test drive the S4. Its a pearl 01 6 spd and although it had 155k miles, it was in nearPERFECT shape. Completely stock except for a short shifter andborla exhaust. Holy crap... It was nice. Even with stock K03's that thing is a monster and so smooth. The suspension is amazing for stock.. Felt like it had coil overs. And the sound is just WOW. So that was a lot of fun. They were only asking $11,500 for it. But the shifting was very sloppy and vague or else i might had considered buying it. Then I test drove a 5spd 99 A4qwith ecodes,K04, lightweightflywheel andperformance clutch (cant remember which brand)coil overs, drilled rotors, borla exhaust, turbo timer, and18 inch OZ's. I wasnt as impressed as i thought i would be. The K04 is great though, LOTS of torque and handled wonderfully... But the clutch didnt engage until it was damn near all the way out and felt so "on/off"... I know thats how it goes with light weigh flywheel and beefy clutch, but i wouldnt be able to deal with it fora DD. They were asking $11, 500 for it too. It had about 100k miles. Also was in awesome shape. All I can say from that experience is I will own an S4 at some point in time.

On the way home, merging on the highway, some jackass who was trying to beat me to the bottle neck in a Honda Accord with halo lights and an intake tried to pass me, but i couldnt let that happen of course. So he gets behind me and flicks me off. So I "tap" my brakes and his lock up and he swerves. So hes comes right up on my *** and I start to take off (at about 60mph at this point) So he tries to go for it and pass me when the lanes are clear shortly after. I let off the gas and let him get up real close (about 75mph now) and all i can hear is his roaring intake... So I downshift to 3rd and next thing i know at about 120mph he is no where to be seen. I dont normaly street race but all lanes were clear and there was no way i was going to let some jackass in a "suped up" honda flick me off and feel good about it. Anyway... I still have not experienced the S4.[&o]1 day, oh yes... 1 day.

 

My friend has an S4, I don't see him alot, but next time I do I know he will let me drive it. Oooo the anticipation!

 

Definately drive one. The B5's have come down in price so much over the last year its crazy. There is almost no reason to not own one (as the sales guy said.) I still love my A4 and all... But, I cant even imagine what a chipped S4 is like if what i drove is stock. Its like... Sex.

 

Well i have nothing to look forward too with my car cause theownerdideverything already. There is however the K04 or GT2871RSbut that's $$$$.

 

I can't belive that sold for 10k. Looked great. Is that a stock front bumper on that one?? If so/ If not - where can I get one?

haha i drive my friends S4 more then he does, his parents bought it for him and he really doesnt like it
