Default Axel CV boot Problem

When I make turns I hear weird cluncking noises. I think my axel is messed up and I need CV boot replacement. Any Idea on how much its going to COST? With parts/Labor. For a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T.

Thanks,
Mark

where are you seohkim? i'm in the bay area, california, and i just got my cv joints replaced for 500 bucks (that was just the inners, 150 each plus 100 install) for the outers i was quoted 185 each and 50 bucks each install. shops in my area are some of the most expensive in the country though, so if you're out in the cuts somewhere, it'll probably be considerably cheaper.

i live in a chicago suburb. I was quoted 675 at the dealer for the Axel replacement. Is that a fair price?

that's not bad for a dealership, but if they're quoting you that much, you should be able to get it done alot cheaper at an independent shop.
