Hey guys whats up. I just got a new exhaust put on my A4 last week and I thought I would share. Its a 3 in from the flex pipe back with a Magnaflow race series inline muffler, mandrel bends, and a 3.5 inch Magnaflow tip. As you can see from the pics there is little to no room, but its damn near a straight shot back. A round muffler was ordered, but we got the oval one which we found out there is no room for and is literally inches off the ground so the round one should be on this week to save room and ground clearense. A 3 in high flow cat and DP are in the works also soon. This seems to be the uncommon thing to do to these cars so I thought I would go the road less traveled and show what else is offered for these cars. The sound is phenominal. I does not sound like a 4 cylinder at all. Its very deep and throaty. I have a sound clip, but it honestly doesn't sound anything like the real thing. It was a 300 dollar job with all the 3 in piping, labor, 3 in flex pipe (not on there yet, had to order it) 3 in mandrel bends, and tip. My buddy did it at his shop so I obviously got a nice discount. Check out the pics and video and tell me what you like and don't like.

BTW, the performance gains are outstanding. The car honestly pulls a lot harder now. Plus the stock unit had to weigh AT LEAST 20 lbs more than this setup so there is a plus also.

Interesting approach you took. It definitely pays to have a buddy at a shop. That's a great deal for the mandrel bend...no one in my town even has a mandrel bender machine or whatever you call it. I asked one guy and he said they're too expensive.
