i came across a website that had a chart showing different specs/packages/options/wheels/badge location etc. for each individual A4 model and year. But i can't find it now. does anyone know what it may have been?

i searched google and went through all the faqs/noob areas. apparently i missed it. the top one is exactly what i was looking for. the reason i was looking for it was because the a4 that i am looking at getting has the A4 badge in the bottom right versus the bottom left. they claim its an 01...should i be worried about this or do you think it was just removed and then put back on in the wrong spot? their is no 1.8t badge though.

 

I wouldnt be worried about badge placement/lack of badges. Look for maintnence records.

 

that would suggest to me that the car has been rear-ended in the past. the bodyshop guys who put the new trunk lid on probably didn't know where to put the badges, so they guessed.
