This summer im going to be purchasing a 1.8t a4. The only question is if itll be the b5 or the b6. From everything Ive read about it though they seem to be basically the same save for the body. So is that all it would come down to? Opinion about the body?

well yeah, the b6 is about 6 grand more

 

If your willing to spend the extra money, get the b6. Newer bodystyle, and the interior is nicer also. However, they are both great cars. I've owned and loved both cars.

Simple get the b6, why not.

 

get a B5 and from the coin you have left over well that is just mod money

 

Depends on how much you're willing to spend. Def get a B6 if you have enough though, in my opinion they look so much better than the B5's.

 

If you can afford a b6 and still have left for a bit of modding... go that route. I've done a fair bit of modding to my car, and I still enjoy driving my dads nearly stock (chipped and 19's) b6 more than my car... I do think my car looks better, though... but most B5'ers will say that (until they buy a b6)

If you can afford a chip, suspension, and wheels... and still afford the b6, then go that route. It'd be a much nicer car. Or, you could get a b5 and big turbo it :P

 

i have a b5 and i love it. personally, i like the look of the b6 tho.. if money isnt an issue, get the b6. otherwise take the advice above: get a b5 and save som g's to hook up ur car. i'm savin up for an rs4 :P
