Default B5 Heated Seats

Hey I was just wondering how hot all u B5 owners' seats get. Mine dont seem to get too warm even turned all the way up In fact, im not even sure if they are working at all. In my 2003 e class benz the heated seats are as hot as sitting on a lit bbq grill. R urs?? Thanks.

Once mine are on 6 for 5 minutes, I finally notice that my chode is burning and I have just lessened my chances of ever having children.

Yeah, they get warm.

actually, it cant be the fuse because the heated seats are hooked to the same fuse as many other things that are working fine (instrument cluster for example.) Ironically, the air bag light runs off the same fuse which is on right now. I guess that makes sence though since both hookups are under the seat. Ill check that fuse out though.

mine is a 98...if my car sits outside overnight on a really really cold day...then of course..it will take awhile to warm up beacuse not only is it a little coil to heat the whole seat, the leather is very cold itself. Other times..i put the thing on like 5...wait to feel my skin burning, then put it to 3-4...and sometimes then i just have to lower it completely because its still so hot.

at first i thought mine was damaged because it didnt not warm up really fast, but i think its just because my car sits out and its cold as hell out right now. If it's warmed up properly mine work like a charm...they're great.

You could fry an egg or get second degree burns if you touched mine with your bare hand after it's been on "6" for awhile. I use it as a heating pad for my sore back on long drives.
