what did you do? did you keep the red/amber/clear....or did you buy the updated red/clear tails? i think the updated red/clear tails change the whole look of the rear...but even on shokan paying like $166 then shipping seems a bit high just for tail lights...are there any non-oem versions that look the same but are cheaper?

 

just keep your eyes open on ebay and the classifieds around here and different forums.. you will be able to find some it might take a little bit of time though

 

i found a pair for 100 bucks shipped. i've seen them go on the classifieds for 100-140 shipped. you're right though, it totally changes the look of the rear end...you should also look into updating your headlights to the one-piece projectors. you can find a set of used US-spec projectors for 200 bucks.

thanks, karl! nope, it's original paint. there was some damage to the front driver side fender that had to be repaired and repainted, but other than that it's from 96...there are a couple spots that need attention though..a few weeks ago i found a small spot of oxidation on the roof (NOT a good thing![:@])

 

wow.. that is really nice looking for original paint.. very deep and rich

 

I'm not saying that bent did it, but you can use certain camera setting as photo setting or lenses to do things like that, you know, make them look better than they really do. one neat little trick that I take advantage of is a good pink or red sunset, makes all the differance.
