Default b5 rear seatbelt issue...

The idiot who owned my car before I did removed the back dash and cut the seat belts in order to do so. I went to a yard and bought a new back dash with complete seatbelt units but cannot figure out how to install them. The units don't even look the same as the ones I need to take out. Are there different types? I've got a 1996 a4. If anybody has any experience with this I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks

I'm sure the seatbelt setups are different for each year/make of an Audi...probably because of updated safety standards. I'd call the stealership and get the part numbers for whatever seatbelt parts you need, and then start searching online for a DIY write-up on the install....that's just what I'd do....
