I searched and couldn't find whether the b5 s4 and b5 1.8T exhausts can be swapped.....is it possibe?

no, the s4 has a bi-turbo v6

Not possible... the 1.8T is a 4cyl, whereas the S4 is an 8cyl. Theoretically, it could be possible, with LOTS of custom welding. Not worth it, IMO... too much $. If you want to upgrade your exhaust, just get one which is designed for the 1.8T.

if you read his post he asked if the b5 1.8t can be swapped with the b5 s4..where have you seen a v8 b5 s4?? it is like lazer viking said before you it is a v6 biturbo....and denis just get the performance exhaust made for your 1.8t....

i have a DTM muffler and its too loud for me so i want to cut the muffler and install the s4 muffler...that would work...amyways thats all i needed to know...thank you matt and lazer...

The pipe diameters need to be the same size, I don't know what size either exhaust has but I would imagine they are not the same.
