Well performance wise the B5 is alot more capable. Looks, obvisoisly its preference, no need to for anyone to fight over it. Whether i havea b5 or b6, the b5 is a classic, even none audi owners will tell you that.

There are way more B5's here...since they have been out for longer...more people have them.

When the B6 first came out, i was convinced i would get a b5 before i'd get a B6. Eventually, I started to feel that the B5 had just been around too long and the B6 was "fresher." I hated the back of the B6 when I first saw it and I still do not absolutely love it, however it has grown on me quite a bit.

What really sets the B6 apart from the B5 however is the interior. The interior of the B6 is absolutely the nicest interior I have ever seen in any car. It feels "right." I have sat in many cars before, and none of them match the B6. I was very happy to see the interior of the B7 is virtually identical.

The exterior of the B7 is eh. I think Audi classed up their cars with the new front grille. I like it sportier-looking however. Both the B5 and B6 look sportier than the B7 to me. The back of the B7, I am not the biggest fan of, but it is growing on me like the B6 did.

I currently have a Black/Black 1.8T B6.

My next car will be a B6 S4.

"wtf"? Whats ur deal? Tuning a b6 is a whole different ball game then tuning a b5. Which is why the b6s just saw a 12sec slip last month for the first time. B5s are in the 11s, while b6s are just now seeing 12s.

Hmmmmmmm...... Tough choice because I have a B5. BUT.... the B6 is a little "cleaner" in my eyes. The lines are sharper and everything just looks "crisp". As for the tail end of the B6, don't hate on it guys!!! With the joined sport wing, the tail end actually look freakin good, but only the A4 in that model. The A6 & A8 tails suck because it just looks like one big *** ****** buble!
