Dave,

That walkthrough on the Penn State site that you posted is nicely done, I read it last week and I'm planning to mod my clear corners as soon as I get a free weekend. However, his walkthrough is specific to B6s, and I've got a B5...anyone know if there are significent differences in the B5-B6 headlight assembly that would make that walkthrough not useful to me? I haven't taken mine apart yet, just covering my bases...I definitely do not have the $$$ for ecodes, so I'm nervous as hell about F-ing up my lights.

Thanks

Yea , its a good link for DIY .
But it depends on if you have one , or two piece lights ..
You may be able to follow that link if you have one piece lights

Yeah, mine are one piece...I guess the only real difference is whether I'd be able to slide the orange insert out in one piece (as suggested in the Penn State link) or cut it up w/ needle-nose pliers first (as suggested in the link Jest provided). Since it looks like the B6 orange insert is a lot slimmer than the B5 orange insert, I guess I'll plan on cutting it up to remove it.

Jest, thanks for providing that link...that is 1 of the 4 clear-corner walkthroughs saved, glad to know you approve.

Thanks guys

When removing xenon bulbs, wear latex gloves. It's the oil off your skin that ruins the bulbs.
