Default B6 Audi A4 Clutch Options

ok, i did search the forums but i want a clearer answer.

with my B6 A4 1.8t i can buy a B6 S4 or RS4 flywheel and clutch and it will bolt on? say for instance i bought it from the dealer, it should bolt directly on and have no issues?

what about cross compatibility? B5 S4 flywheel and clutch onto my B6 1.8t?

if this is possible i would rather go with the RS4 setup than going with a puck style aftermarket clutch.

I guess if you are buying a ne clutch + installation from a dealer they give you a warranty. If you do it yourself, no warranty but much cheaper. You can do it in any other shop which can also give you a warranty. Search on forums, there are a lot of info about clutches. They are a lot of different kinds of themand a lot of manufact. First, decide how much power you will be needed to hold, and how much money you can spend. Good luck.

well neither of you answered my question.

it was a hypothetical.

if i bought an OEM B6 S4 or B6 RS4 clutch and flywheel from the dealer. would it bolt on and function perfectly fine. I want to know that for sure before i begin looking at aftermarket stuff.
