Looking for a replacement car and I drive long distances, so I have been looking mostly at the 1.8 motors for good gas mileage.
I understand the 3.0 is a very reliable engine and should also be considered, what about the 2.8 engine?
I found a rare A-4 with a 6 speed manual that I think would be ideal.

B7 any better than the b6?
