Default b6 body kits

I have a 2002 a4 3.0 sedan, and I am sick of looking at the grey bottom. I wanted to get a body kit, but I talked ot the most reputable audi specialists in toronto called Pfaff and they mentioned to me that many kits require a lot of work to install body kits. I love the reiger body kit but they said the last few times they worked with a reiger kit, it cost 3000.00 to sand, paint and install. Basically they said reiger was a bitch to work with. They mentioned ABT and Caracter are fairly easy to work with requiring little work. Does anyone know of good reputable brands that cost around 1000-1500 which will require little extra work?

Got to http://www.a4mods.com and click on body kits. He has pics of them all there. Some kits stick on over your factory lower. Those are a pain. The ones that replace the factory lower are what you want, and even then, don't get the ebay knock offs as they are fiberglass and crack when the wind changes direction.

rieger is the cheapest full bodykit, but it has the most fitment issues but i bet when u buy a Caracter or ABT it will cost more then a reiger casue those two kits are pricey.
there also another good kit called OETTINGER but they are also pricey, but alot of people have oettinger
but u get wat u paid for

do u want to spend 1500-1700 for the kit alone rite not installed and painted rite

but i like Caracter but if u want someting that will fit go wit the Vortex kit, thats the kit i had on my car back in the day

well I dont want to spend more than 2000 to do this...but I dont want a crumby kit that is going to crack. Im glad to hear about the ebay knock offs, I was completely lost as to why they were so cheap. I noticed one of the earlier posts, on of the pics had the 3 holes in the back with the tail pipe sitting in it, is reiger the only company that does that? From what my mechanic says, majority of the money is spent fitting and painting, so he advised me to get something reputable.

well u do know authentic body kits for our cars are super expensive, a Caracter or Oettinger can be 800-1000 alone for the front bumper alone
how much is ur mechanic charging u, a flat rate or how much per hour and how many hours

Nikoo try Prestige Motors in North York. They specialize in Audi's for resale and maintenance and mods. The guy I deal with, Frank Hidelbrand, mentiioned that they can take the grey bumber and sand and paint it to match the rest of the car for roughly $250-$300 per panel so you're looking at $1200 for the entire car. Granted this is not going to have the same look as a Oettinger & Caracter. But check it out they may be able to do what you want for a decent price.

PS. if you do find a good replacement for the nasty grey let me know, I think I might hook it up.

i've got those photos of your car on my HDD panda. since the day i saw them i've been convinced i'm not going to paint the lower part of the doors and just replace the side skirts, i love the look of the gray on the door, it breaks the solidness of one color nicely.

Anything where the main page(the linkyou have)says fiberglass I would stay away from. I know the guy at NGP and he has the OETTINGER for his A3. He said fitment was spot on..check it out
