B6 custom exhaust...

Default B6 custom exhaust...

welding an exhaust from the bolt point back on my b6 1.8t. no resonators and no mufflers...
what do you think?

What size of pipe are you going to use?? It will probably be loud but I like that sort of thing. Also you might have problems with it back firing at least I did on my b5 when I had it like that, I decided to put a borla cat back on and it sounds great and doesn’t backfire.

its 2.5", id go bigger but thats how big the pipe where the bolt point is.

Yeah 2.5' is the size of my borla kit. I really like the way it sounds. Is there any particular reason your going strait pipe cuz i think it might get old with how loud it is gunna be...

wow, somebody turned up the flame, it just got hot in this forum.....im considering a custom exhaust and i am going to have 2 mufflers....i dont want rasp, can I get a decent answer as to how it will sound? ...christ.

My Borla kit has two mufflers and it sounds really good imo, it’s not too loud but there’s a kind of tone it gets when you step on it that’s hard to describe but it sounds mean. With out mufflers my car was pretty raspy and I decided that it wasn’t the best sound, so I went with borla and am pleased with the results.
