Default B6 Life Expectancy

I am looking into buying a B6, and happened upon a beautiful 02 black 3.0 w/ 6 speed, and all the features I want... problem is it has 100,000 miles on it. They are asking 16k for it. Im just a little nervous about the mileage, I had hoped to find one under 60k miles, but this one is beautiful. Would you guys be wary of such a high mileage Audi? What are some things I should look for? Thanks

And before anyone asks, I prefer a 3.0 since I dont plan any performance mods... maybe lower it and some rims but that would be it.

Has records though I didn't look at them too closely. I didn't ask about the timing belt.

not for nothing but i paid 16K for a 2003 1.8T (manual) with 44,000 miles
so 1 year newer...56K less miles and drinks less gas for the same price

i cant say it's a great deal, look around
www.cars.com has some good $hyt

A 3.0 is a lot more expensive than a 1.8T, one of the things that you need to do is to check if the timing belt was done yet? second, look through the CARFAX report, and see if what's going on with the car generally, such as savalge title, lemon, flooded, and so on.....

Test drove them, and also, check to see if there's any leak in the car...........

Other than that, I would say go for it, if you don't plan to chipped the car, or do any mod, you will be fine with AUDI, especially when it is a 3.0.

Oh, press it hard to make the price go down a bit more, try 15K out the door.

$16,000 for a 100,000 mile car? Keep walking.
