I know the brakes "should" be the same up front on the B7 A4 as the B6 S4, but I was wondering if anyone has replaced the pads yet and tried that out. Waiting for companies to make specific parts for your new car is really frustrating. The second half of the question is what can I replace the rear pads with... they aren't like the B6 S4 or A4, are they?

 

no the B7 front brakes arent the B6 S4 brakes

 

I think it was... road & track I read that in... Never did the comparison.

 

the calipers arent the same
and the rotors are
b7 brakes are 12.6in and the B6 S4 is 13.6in
